At Multiply Church Rowan, our vision isn’t just to plant a church. It’s to multiply people—disciples of Jesus who think and act like Him, and help others do the same.
Too often, church becomes a place we attend instead of a way we live. But following Jesus was never meant to be passive. It’s active. It’s relational. And it’s meant to be multiplied.
Jesus didn’t just teach—He built a community. The word we now translate as church comes from the Greek word ekklesia, meaning “the called-out ones.” It referred to a gathered assembly with purpose—a people summoned to act. That’s what we’re building: not an audience, but a community of people who walk with Jesus daily and help others do the same.
Jesus gathered people, yes—but He also walked closely with them. He discipled them, empowered them, and sent them out. That’s the model we follow. We’re cultivating a culture where people grow to think and act like Jesus.
So what does that look like in real life?
It looks like parents choosing patience in the chaos.
Students standing up for the overlooked.
Employees seeing their work as worship.
Neighbors opening their homes, not just their Bibles.
Discipleship doesn’t just happen on a stage. It happens around tables, in hard conversations, in moments of joy and grief, and through consistent love.
That’s the vision. A church full of disciples—who make more disciples.
And we’re just getting started.
